ClearSpan Infrastructure builds and maintains fiber, OSP, and mission-critical telecom across Mississippi and the Southeast. Five positions are open now, including general labor that takes no telecom experience. Applying takes about two minutes, no resume required.
ClearSpan is a Mississippi-based telecommunications contractor providing aerial construction, fiber splicing, field engineering, maintenance, and emergency restoration services.
We are a growing company, but we are still small enough for good work to get noticed. Our owners and project managers stay involved in the field, communicate directly with crews, and address problems without running everything through layers of management.
The work can involve travel, long days, changing project conditions, and demanding production schedules. In return, we provide steady opportunities, maintained equipment, direct communication, and room for experienced people to take on more responsibility.
We hire based on what you can safely and consistently do in the field. Experience, attitude, dependability, certifications, travel availability, and leadership ability all factor into the position and compensation offered.
Tell us what you have done, what equipment you can operate, and where you are willing to work. We will have a straightforward conversation about available positions, expectations, and pay.
Four of the roles below are full-time, in-house positions on a ClearSpan crew. General Labor is project-based work we staff as jobs come up. If your experience is close but not an exact match, apply anyway. We staff multiple scopes and would rather see your application than not.
Drop-to-door work on North Mississippi FTTH builds: place aerial and buried drops, splice and test them, and finish the install inside the home or business — ONT, router, activation, and a customer who is online before you leave the driveway.
Aerial and underground work every day: vibratory plow and underground placement on the ground, strand and fiber from the bucket truck overhead, and fusion splicing when the glass goes in. Traveling position that moves with our construction crews across the Southeast.
Survey poles, existing utilities, and proposed routes ahead of construction. You will capture heights, clearances, conditions, and photos in Katapult Pro, Fulcrum, IkeGPS, or ArcGIS Field Maps — or LineMaps, the field platform we built in-house — and hand engineering data they can trust.
Production fusion splicing for FTTH and mainline builds — closures, cassettes, ribbon and loose tube, test and turn-up. Two openings: one based in North Mississippi, one traveling with project crews. Tell us which fits.
Not everything we build is fiber. We keep a call list of dependable people for upcoming projects and temporary work across North Mississippi: ground hand support, temporary fence, equipment setup, and loading trailers. If you show up on time, work safe, and do what you say you will, we want your name on that list.
Project length, schedules, and pay vary by assignment. Apply now to be considered as work becomes available.
Three quick steps, about two minutes. No resume required. Tell us what you have done and what you can operate.
If your background fits an open position, we call you. A direct conversation about the work, your experience, expectations, and pay.
Reference and skills check, a written offer, and a start date. Then you are on a crew.
Pick one. If more than one fits, pick the closest — you can mention the rest in your background on the next step.
Plain English beats buzzwords. What you've placed, spliced, bored, climbed, or surveyed — and roughly where and for whom.
This goes to the hiring desk. You can attach a resume, certs, or photos of your work below — or email them after you submit.
Your application is with the hiring desk. If your background fits an open position, we will call to talk through the role, expectations, and pay. To add a resume, cert photos, or work samples, email info@
