ClearSpan is owned and run by three lifelong friends who each started in telecom at 18 and ran their own fiber contracting companies before joining forces.
Joseph sets ClearSpan’s direction and leads business development. He came up as an AT&T outside plant technician and rose to East Coast field services manager at a national telecom infrastructure firm. He also built LineMaps, the platform every ClearSpan job runs on.

Jake runs ClearSpan’s day-to-day operations: crews, scheduling, equipment, and field execution. He started at 18 with a local cable TV company, then worked structured cabling, satellite, and camera systems before moving into fiber.

Michael manages ClearSpan’s finances, from invoicing and accounts payable to budget reviews. He started at 18 installing satellite, then worked structured cabling, inside wiring, cameras, and Wi-Fi access points before moving into fiber. He still works alongside the crews in the field.
